Update: The Church of Christ, Scientist, Mission Line
Earlier this year, from May 1 through 14, a Mission Information Line was set up, and senior managers were available to answer questions and comments about the Church's Mission Statement (see Sentinel, April 29, 1996, p. 17). During this time, we received approximately 224 telephone calls, E-mails, and letters from individuals in Canada, Japan, Australia, England, Switzerland, and Brazil, and in 33 different states around the United States. Caller questions included:
• How do we define the "spirit of evangelism"?
• What can be done to help churches address the Mission Statement?
