Our children
Oh yes, I hold it safe—
the knowledge of their dearness;
close within my heart it lies.
But not held with binding cords
of uncut apron strings.
The real embrace that enfolds their purpose
is divine—
from their true, perfect source,
their heavenly Father-Mother,
who holds secure each loved one's
pure identity.
Their progressive lives I do hold dear—
so dear—and yet their precious steps must rise
within the encircling care
of their own relationship to God.
There, and only there with Love divine,
I know it's safe.
