CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SENTINEL—RADIO EDITION
"Growing into" everlasting life
Recently, Russ Gerber, host of the Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition, spoke with Ethel Morse, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Russ Gerber: Ethel, do you associate the passing of years with decline and deterioration?
Ethel Morse: Indeed I do not, and I'm glad you used that word deterioration because it's so out of keeping with what I've come to understand through my study of Christian Science. I think from the time one awakens to the truth of being—when you really see and feel and have it proved that God is your very Life, your very Mind, your seeing, your hearing, your everything—then rather than think of going downhill and disintegrating, you begin pulling yourself together, really. You begin proving your unity with God in every way you possibly can. So instead of losing hearing, sight, and so on, they should become sharper, it seems to me, as we go along.
