Youth
Brian W. Elliott
I found my youth today.
Gently it settled upon my thought—
not as memories do, nor as a longing
to relive a mortal past
but as a smile, a fresh and precious
glimpse of my true identity
as the reflection of Love and Life,
ageless, eternal.
I'm joyfully growing toward a fuller
recognition of who I am—
a cherished and innocent idea of God.
