I had a healing a while ago that I've rejoiced over every day since. Sometime during 1985 I noticed some discomfort in one hip. I didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it would just go away. Instead it gradually worsened until I was in pain most of the time. I had begun to pray for myself and had also called a Christian Science practitioner to help me.

While I was able to continue caring for my home and family, I found that partway through each afternoon I was so worn out I had to rest for a couple of hours before any more activity. Often the only relief I could find was in lying flat on my back on the floor.

This went on for about two years. The help and encouragement I received from several different practitioners was a great comfort to me, and in retrospect I am convinced that every single Christian Science treatment was effective and bore fruit, even if it didn't seem to be having an effect at the time.
