The study of Christian Science has blessed me in many ways
The study of Christian Science has blessed me in many ways. I'd like to share one recent healing in the hope that it will inspire and encourage others to apply the teachings of Christian Science for themselves.
The members of our church were asked to read through Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in preparation for an upcoming lecture we were having for the community. About the same time a lump on my back, which had been there for years, began to enlarge and become painful.
In my reading I was impressed by the many times, and the different ways, Mrs. Eddy stated that human experiences are the manifestation of thought. After I had underlined references stating this fact time after time, it was firmly established in my consciousness that the condition on my back was simply a false image in thought—not a condition of matter or of disease.
