When I was a new student of Christian Science some...
When I was a new student of Christian Science some twenty-five years ago, I witnessed my first demonstration of God's perfect healing presence.
We had just moved into a new home, and I was working in the study. There was a pounding on the front door, and a neighbor informed me that there had been an accident involving my son, who was five years old at the time. The neighbor proceeded to tell me that the boy had been riding on the back of a bicycle and had caught his bare foot between the chain and the rear sprocket. He said that it was very serious and that my son should be taken to a hospital immediately.
I assured the neighbor that I would take care of it and thanked him for his help. I ran to the scene and found my son sitting on the pavement. His foot was badly injured, and he was crying uncontrollably.
