From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, March 21, 1993 The Spiritual Healing Of Christian Science
The March 14 news stories and the March 16 editorial concerning the death of a St. Charles boy while under Christian Science care were woefully onesided and, in some important particulars, either inaccurate or misleading about the true nature of Christian Science treatment of disease.
It would be impossible to correct every inaccuracy and misconception in these stories in one letter, but I would like to clarify a few of the important ones. I am a lifelong Christian Scientist who has experienced and witnessed the healing effectiveness of Christian Science treatment many times for myself, my wife and my four children.
