The Lesson-Sermon: day-to-day protection
Study of the Bible Lesson, together with prayer, opens the way to healing.
Original in Portuguese
Sometimes in our day-to-day experience we need help, whether for troubles with health, relationships, employment, or household responsibilities. Support can be found in the Lesson-Sermons outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly. These lessons are made up of citations from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. We each have the opportunity to apply in prayer what we've learned from our study and to experience healing.
When Christ Jesus healed, he resorted to no other method than turning to the Father in prayer. And he taught others how to pray. He said: "When thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly" (Matt. 6:6).
