Legal defense funds remain open for contributions
Two major cases regarding the practice of Christian Science are currently in litigation. This is an update on these cases, one of which is being litigated in Massachusetts, and the other in Minnesota.
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has agreed to hear an appeal in the case of Ginger and David Twitchell. The Twitchells' appeal will be heard without the need of being considered first by an intermediate appellate court. Briefs will be filed over the next several months, and oral arguments may take place by June. At this writing, it isn't known when the final decision will be handed down.
