I am writing this testimony because I want to express gratitude in small measure for all the good that I have received by finding Christian Science. It has sustained me during very difficult moments in my life. More than twenty years ago, when I was going through great tribulation in my family, one Sunday I heard a radio program about this Science that heals. I borrowed the book, Science and Health, that was talked about on the program and thus became acquainted with the Truth that heals, based on the teachings of Christ Jesus. By accepting Christ as the perfect model and studying the Christian Science Bible Lessons, I have been greatly blessed.

I thank God for His help when I was traveling by bus. Because of a quick stop which the driver had to make unexpectedly, I fell on my back on the street. The traffic stopped. I was able to get up from the ground unassisted. I took my bag and got onto the bus again. I remembered these words of Christ Jesus: "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing."

But that night pain in my body didn't allow me to sleep. I took Science and Health and read all night. During the day I studied the Bible Lesson and was able to do some chores. I didn't examine my body to see what was happening but prayed further, and thus I conquered the pain. All returned to normal in a week.
