I have experienced so many healings in Christian Science and have been grateful for testimonies of healing in the Christian Science magazines. But I've never submitted my own testimony. I had a lovely healing a few years ago that I have cherished, and now I want to share it.

One morning while walking the dog, I suddenly lost my footing and fell. My knees hit the concrete sidewalk with force, which caused much pain. I got up, silently declaring the spiritual fact that God knows nothing of accidents. There was some discomfort when my legs bore the weight of my body, but it did not seem enough to disrupt our morning walk, so I continued on.

Once alone in the park, I began declaring aloud "the scientific statement of being," found in Science and Health. The discomfort abated, and we continued with our usual three-mile walk. But toward the end of the walk the pain became noticeable again, and I was moving with great difficulty by the time I reached home.
