I have had the blessings of Christian Science all my life and, consequently, have loved and cherished the Truth since I was a child. In raising our five children, we had very few illnesses. And those that did come were healed literally overnight. Our children were seldom absent from school.
One experience that stands out occurred when we lived near the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. My mother loves to hike into the mountains. Early one Saturday morning, she and our niece left for such a hike. But through the day I found myself disturbed with regard to their safety and stopped the work I was doing to pray until I was conscious that they were in God's care, shepherded and maintained by Him.
