Healing and "growth in grace"
An understanding of God's love, and a heartfelt expression of it, are vital to the practice of spiritual healing.
Many people have a sincere desire to heal through prayer not only their own ills but also those of a troubled world. How can we fulfill these desired goals?
Christ Jesus, the greatest healer of all time, shows us how. He pointed out both the basis for healing and the demands the individual healer must meet. One of those demands is that we express pure, God-derived love for those we would help. The Gospels record Jesus' unparalleled love and compassion for mankind and his patient efforts to show people God's power.
