Youth of all faiths exploring ideas together
Meetings for young people in the United States and Canada began this past August. Local Christian Scientists have initiated these meetings and opened them to all young people in their areas. Participants are exploring prayer-based answers to questions they have in common. For example, questions on identity, morality, relationships, careers, and what individuals can do about world problems like pollution, violence, economic anxieties, homelessness. The format includes talks, workshops, music, as well as time for informal sharing, making new friends, and thinking about what's been said.
Everyone from age twelve through thirty is invited.
So far, these are definite areas and times for remaining 1991 and also 1992 meetings:
