Christian Science has been enriching, benefiting, and giving...
Christian Science has been enriching, benefiting, giving meaning to my life for as long as I can remember. It has become an absolute essential in our home as we raise a young family.
My husband, three children, and I have experienced many healings as the result of prayer. These include an instantaneous healing of a severe sore throat, which occurred while I was listening to "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy as it was being read during a branch church service; a quick healing of a sprained ankle during travel abroad with a college group; the complete healing of a breathing difficulty in our youngest child when she was an infant; and healings of earaches in our two older children.
While I was chatting with a neighbor one day, I was holding the leash of her large dog. Suddenly the dog lunged forward to try and chase some boys riding by on bicycles. My hand was brought up with great force under the edge of a large metal mailbox, and soon there were symptoms of a broken bone or bones.
