God's children
We need a childlike purity
to place our trust in God—
know more of good's omnipotence,
feel safe in His security.
Through innocent eyes we see
His true creation with clarity;
meek and gracious qualities
appreciate Love's sweet harmonies.
Child-heart trust and peace
are found in self-surrender,
bowing to God's will
so merciful and tender.
Forever one with God—
forever in His care,
we freely share His love
in word, and deed, and prayer.
