Testimony—how recent?
Testimony of healing and gratitude is vital to our Cause. Inspiring, good healing is going on, but often we are "talked out" of sharing these healings by the mesmeric suggestions of these times—skepticism, apathy, inertia. If you haven't given a testimony in church recently, why not do it soon? A testifier in an issue of the Christian Science Sentinel not long ago wrote: "I realized that it had been more than twenty years since I expressed gratitude for Christian Science in writing." If it has been more than a year since you sent along a written account, we'd love to hear from you. For a few guidelines on preparing testimonies for the periodicals, see page 627 in the October 1986 issue of The Christian Science Journal or page 31 in the February 16, 1987, Sentinel.
