Is there a remedy for earth's woes?
Divine Truth enables us to rise above the depressing view of ourselves as mortals, and to begin really living.
Today mankind is being presented with countless material remedies for life's ailments. New drugs, computerized instruments, surgical transplants, laser surgery, have been added to humanity's search for a panacea for physical ills. And while some diseases have diminished, others have taken their place. So we ask: "Is there a better way? Is there a method of healing that is effective and available to everyone, everywhere, at all times?"
Amid the various approaches to health stands the gospel record of healing as taught and practiced by Christ Jesus. His remedy was unequivocally spiritual. Relying solely on Spirit, God, he healed the sinner, the diseased, the blind, dumb, lame, maimed, and the insane. Those healed were not only relieved of their suffering but were freed to live life more spiritually. The all-important question is, "Is the same approach to healing really practical for us today?" Healing, accomplished through Christian Science treatment, has been proving for more than a century that Jesus' remedy for all ills is both realistic and understandable.
Following the example of Jesus, Christian Scientists turn to Spirit, not matter, as a remedy for disease. The Bible, as well as their own personal experience, provides persuasive evidence of the reliability of spiritual healing.
