With humility and rejoicing, I submit this testimony
With humility and rejoicing, I submit this testimony.
Although I was brought up in Christian Science, during a period of my adult life I joined a "fast set" and indulged in smoking, social drinking, and lowered standards of behavior. I went to church irregularly, studied Christian Science only occasionally, and took God for granted.
When my dear mother passed on, I felt a great loss. I began to study Christian Science sincerely and was comforted and healed of my grief. Through continued prayer and a deep desire to join a branch church, I gained a fuller understanding of God. This brought complete healing of the smoking, social drinking, and casual life style. The following are a few other healings I have had over the years.
