As a schoolteacher, I reached a point where I felt burned out
As a schoolteacher, I reached a point where I felt burned out. By two in the afternoon I was exhausted, and the last hour of the day seemed endless. I was counting the days to retirement.
Then Science entered my life, and my thought was illumined. My energy increased, and my skills seemed to peak. I felt in top form. Now in my role as a teacher, I endeavor to see the children, the parents, and the staff as I see myself—as God's perfect, spiritual idea. I also love teaching Sunday School in my branch church.
At one time I developed a sharp pain in my arm. Finally I couldn't lift my arm above waist level without great pain. For months I worked with many spiritual truths from the Bible and from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health Mrs. Eddy.
