Infinitely sustained
Wait,
not doubting.
Wait,
like a child, trusting.
It is hard to wait
to wait like a child
hoping, longing for gift.
It is harder still
not to doubt.
But
if we wish to be
good children
of an infinitely sustaining Father
that is what
we must do.
The supply will come
the wrong will be righted
the healing accomplished
the doubt will be
assuaged.
The Father-Mother's hand
can never be withdrawn.
The waiting child
need only clasp it.
Need only trustingly learn
to be infinitely sustained.
