"Stolen Property's Return A Sign From Above?"
"Employees at a Charlotte computer company say their prayers were answered Thursday.
"Police say [last week] someone broke into the ... office of E. A. Crowell and Associates and stole $35,000 worth of computer equipment.
"Since that day, company Vice President Sally Crowell said, employees ... prayed for the equipment's return.
"Thursday, it happened.
"Police say a man who identified himself as the thief called the company and apologized for what he had done. He told company President Edward Crowell to check the loading dock.
"Crowell found the equipment there, neatly wrapped in plastic bags. All that was missing was a cable, cut during the break-in....
"He said he would mail a check to us by Monday [for the cable], Sally Crowell said."
