Deeper wells
Sometimes those who have experienced healings through prayer may feel they are in something of a "dry spell." Healing may not appear to be coming as readily as before. It may seem at such times as though inspiration has gone away—far away! Someone may begin to wonder just why healing through prayer ever seemed possible or natural in the first place.
There's a way out of the dry spell and a lot to be learned on the way out. Perhaps one of the greatest lessons comes in discovering that while healing feels natural to one state of thought called spiritual sense, it doesn't seem natural to the state of thought which takes as primary all that the physical senses are saying.
To grasp this point more clearly can be a significant step in regaining inspiration. When we're living in such a way that spiritual sense predominates—that is, when we're truly willing to be obedient to divine Spirit, God, and to the all-important fact of His goodness—then we're open to the spiritual assurances and insights that flow into thought and make a spiritual approach to healing feel natural.
