Q&A

Some questions and answers about Christian Science

All of us have questions. We want to know what's important to others and what helps to make their lives more meaningful. Such searching questions can't simply be answered by turning to some kind of technical data base. Searching questions—the kind that touch our lives, our spiritual hopes, our thoughts about God—require heart-to-heart responses.

In this continuing series, we share with readers responses to questions that have arisen in one-to-one conversations, in discussion groups, and through correspondence with many people who want to know what Christian Science is, and what it's like to be a student of Christian Science. Of course, these responses are not presented here as final or definitive answers. Nor are the responses the only way any particular inquiry might be responded to. But they are actual responses that have come out of contacts in the communities in which Christian Scientists work and live.
