"...now I see"
John 9:25
Like the man Christ Jesus healed of being born blind,
Or like being born blind,
I found my entire being mentally deep
In a world of darkness,
Not discerning the truth, the light...
Not having a knowledge of reality.
Darkness seemed so real,
And light, as a dream, a myth ... an illusion.
But oh, when the night looked too long and cold,
It happened—as it must—
I turned my gaze and focused
Deep
With the lens of Truth
Beyond this seeming reality
Of being born blind, and
Found that light, spiritual consciousness, is the real
And darkness, material sensuousness, is the dream, the
myth ... the illusion.
Yes, I found my true and only self
As the unblurred reflection of the ever all-seeing
I am—as
Always one with Him—
Never blind,
Never born blind.
