The Christian Science Broadcasting Center has an immediate need for volunteers who are interested in serving as shortwave monitors for The World Service of The Christian Science Monitor and The Herald of Christian Science radio programs.
We urgently need monitors in the following areas: Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, North Africa, East Africa, and all of Asia and the Pacific rim.
Shortwave monitors play a very important role in helping us to maintain the quality of reception for our broadcasts. They provide us with valuable information about general reception in key areas of the world and help to identify interference, should any be encountered. They also help us in locating frequencies for future use.
