Hearing someone say those words is one thing. Knowing the spiritual truth behind them can mean everything.
Does there seem to be a transparent but impenetrable wall between you and good?
This thought came repeatedly to me at a time when my husband and I were extremely discouraged. We had moved across the country to a new area, but anticipated opportunities had not materialized. Emergencies had depleted our savings, and our expensive living quarters were inconvenient and distasteful.
I'd been praying for weeks, desperately, but I'd not felt God's nearness. Separation from Him was all I seemed to feel.
