Like Ruth,
be willing to glean
in the field after the reapers.

Christians through centuries
have gleaned in the book
of the Lord of the harvest
to find fragments from His
feeding presence—
recalling Jesus, who filled
with fragments
twelve baskets, and seven.

Gather the crumbs
from the mighty table!
