Remember Gethsemane
Sometimes the greatest love is
letting go
earth-weights.
I can give up what is not planned for me—
with grace,
preparing to accept what is.
Experience has taught the sequence:
God directs—I go.
And how much better
the journey He plans.
Needs met.
Desire fulfilled.
Questions answered
step by step.
Who wouldn't go where Love leads?
The Master said it better:
"... not my will, but thine, be done."
Nikki Tomlinson Smith
