During a trial
Dear God, I hold Thy hand
and will not let it go.
This much I understand.
This much I know.
I place myself in Thee
through Christ, the only Way.
This much my heart can see,
accept, obey.
Thy truth is holding me.
It cannot let me go.
Thy hand is harmony.
This much I know.
The test I seem to face
is strengthening my grip
and quickening my praise
each healing step.
