Although I'm not a member of the Church of Christ, Scientist, I've loved Christian Science for years. I would like to relate two wonderful healings that I have had through the help of Christian Science practitioners at different times.
After many years of smoking one to two packages of cigarettes a day, I was completely healed two years ago, and since that time I have had no desire to smoke.
Also, I had an extreme claustrophobic feeling about flying, which was overcome on my first flight. The practitioner who prayed for me asked me to work with Psalm 139, verses 7–11, which I found very comforting. Verse 7 states, "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?" With the practitioner's help I was entirely released from fear; I was calm and composed and really enjoyed my first flight. Since then I've had several wonderful trips, flying across the ocean in complete freedom. I am truly grateful to God for Christian Science.
