Submerged in troubles,I thought I knewWhat could lift me up.(Perhaps you too have reasoned this way):"Dear God, won't You please just send one signTo glow in my darkness, and bring that ease of mindWhich can see brighter days in store?"

And then this answer (more whisper than roar)—"Why expect to find light when you look in the mailboxOr answer the phone or apply for a job?Be steadfast in seeing the glory of God.Peer into Soul's mirror and hear the wordThat Abraham, Moses, and Jesus heard:Man is the sign. Now shine!"
