One Wednesday evening, after attending my branch church's...
One Wednesday evening, after attending my branch church's weekly testimony meeting, I returned home with an uplifted sense of man's God-given freedom and a beautiful sense of peace and dominion. Just as I was starting upstairs I heard a heavy thud from the garage and then a muffled cry for help. I called up to my husband for his help and then ran down to the garage.
Unbeknownst to me, our eldest son had been working underneath his car, making repairs, and apparently had not jacked up the car properly. He was pinned under the automobile and was scared. I was able to hold up one side of the front of the car to give him some relief; and I prayed aloud, clearly declaring statements of Truth to sustain him. One idea I shared with him was that he was enveloped in Love. The inspiration I had received from the testimony meeting and the clear thought I was experiencing helped to dispel all fear.
My husband arrived and was able to jack up the car. Our son was freed; the only evidence of the experience was a single cut on the temple, which quickly healed.
