Trust's humble hand
(See II Samuel 9)
"Art thou Ziba?"
demanded the most
powerful military leader
of the day of one
classified as servant
to a once powerful family.
He answered "Yes," without
attempt to hide, evade,
or deny in the face of
power's possibly
unfriendly demands.
The obscure caretaker's
role in the safety of
the life of a young lad
sets example's clear table
with trust's humble hand.
"Art thou Ziba?"
Take authority's kingship
to where your charge
is hidden, understanding
even at that moment that
the might of Mind, God, though
not dressed in crowns and
swords, is superior
to earth's posturing
charades.
"Art thou Ziba?"
chosen to be the
instrument of life's
salvation, little dreaming
or planning such a role?
Stand then, fast
in the Principle
that heals
as it guides, that
shelters as it leads,
all who answer
Yes. I am Ziba.
