I've been so helped by the teachings of Christian Science that I want to share some of the healings I've enjoyed.
I woke about two o'clock one morning feeling quite ill. I could hardly lift my head from the pillow. My first thought was to call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. Then, not wanting to disturb someone at that hour, I decided to wait until daylight. I prayed for myself and was able to get further rest.
When I woke a few hours later, the first line of Hymn 74 came to me: "Go forth and stand upon the mount." I rose and opened my Christian Science Hymnal. Words from that hymn include these: "Go, take the little open book/From out the angel's hand."
