What if?
What if a gunman were to invade your home and threaten your life? What if you were traveling along a deserted road at night and lost control of your car and were seriously injured? What if...?
They are common questions and there are a lot of variations. But must we learn to live with uncertainty and fear?
I know someone who was in a very dangerous situation. He had to be there. There were obligations that had to be met. The vulnerability he felt seemed justified. But disaster never happened, although there were a number of times when it seemed imminent.
