It has been some time since I expressed written gratitude for Christian Science. There is so much to be thankful for that I must choose only a few examples of the evidence I have had of God's goodness.
I had the privilege of growing up in a home where Christian Science was practiced faithfully, and I am increasingly grateful that I was taught always to turn to God as "a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). Illness, injury, accident, fear, were healed quickly through prayer alone.
I recall one incident when I was playing with my friends and fell and bit through my lower lip. My mother washed the cut and assured me of God's love and care for me. The lip healed quickly, and no evidence of the incident remains.
