Christian Science has been the mainstay of my life for several decades. As I have learned to claim my spiritual identity as an idea of divine Mind, many limitations have been overcome. Partial deafness and many dispositional traits have been healed. A healing of abject poverty occurred many years ago. As a result of putting my hand in God's and following His direction, I have received education, a variety of business opportunities, and enjoyed extensive world travel.
Through studying the Bible Lesson found in the Christian Science Quarterly, as well as Mrs. Eddy's writings, reading the Christian Science periodicals, and taking class instruction in this Science, great good has been gained. My husband and I have had the privilege of attending branch churches and Christian Science societies around the globe. This has been most inspiring.
I'd like to relate two experiences that took place while we were traveling overseas. One night we visited some friends in a large city. We stayed until eleven o'clock and left just as it started to rain. I stepped under the canopy of the building and asked my husband to find a taxi. The street was brightly lighted but completely deserted.
