A change of address
The Mother Church is not moving (!)... but one of its mailing addresses is changing slightly. The Christian Science Publishing Society and the Publisher's Agent both retain their present address—One Norway Street.
However, mail for other activities of The Mother Church should be sent to The First Church of Christ, Scientist, 175 Huntington Avenue, the legal address of the Church Administration building. The term Christian Science Center will no longer be needed for mail. It has become clear that this term has not properly identified the Church's location for mail or for visitors. The new address will do this. The ZIP code remains 02115 for all addresses. The change is effective immediately.
A letter, for example, might now be sent to:
The First Church of Christ, Scientist
Clerk of The Mother Church, A–172
175 Huntington Avenue
Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115
Christian Science Reading Rooms
...are a good place to investigate Christian Science more deeply, to become more familiar with the Bible, to read Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy, to learn how to study the weekly Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly. A free lending library is there for your use, and the attendant will be happy to answer your questions.
The healing message of Christian Science
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy contains the complete explanation of the Science of Christianity. Along with the Bible, this book serves as the pastor of The Mother Church and its branches throughout the world. Its healing message is for all mankind. The book is available in English, in English Braille, and in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. It may be borrowed or purchased from any Christian Science Reading Room or ordered directly from the Publisher's Agent; One Norway Street; Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115.
A continuing invitation
Members of The Mother Church are invited to write articles and poems for the periodicals. Convincing testimonies of healing are also welcomed from members, as well as from those who have not yet joined The Mother Church.
Specific guidelines may be obtained by writing The Christian Science Publishing Society; Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, P–602; One Norway Street; Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115. Manuscripts should be sent to the same address.
All contributions accepted for publication become the sole property of The Christian Science Publishing Society.
