For children
Prayer can heal you
You may have heard that Christian Scientists don't take medicine. It's true—in a way. We don't take material medicine like aspirin or drugs. We "take" prayer, and we try to pray a lot. That's the best way to get well and stay well.
Sometimes our thinking thinks sickness, and our body follows this thinking. When we're sick, we pray. (And we pray when we're not sick, too!) We pray to know we're God's children, really, so we can't really be sick.
When we think more clearly how we're God's children, there's healing.
