The previous testifier is my mother, and I feel very privileged...
The previous testifier is my mother, and I feel very privileged to have been raised in a home where Christian Science was the guiding force of our thoughts and actions. My understanding of God's love and care for us has met my every need, and our older child is now attending a Christian Science Sunday School.
I would like to share the experience we had recently in the birth of our second child. The birth of our first child had been at home and was truly a wonderful experience—harmonious in every way. When I found I was expecting our second child, I prayed to see clearly what arrangements would be the best for the birth of that child.
We had moved to a different state, and the military hospital on the base where my husband is assigned had a natural birthing room. The staff had a very good reputation for considering each individual's needs. We decided to have the delivery in the hospital.
