"It is difficult today for those who believe in Christian theology to believe in the Christian ethic. A few generations ago, even non-Christians were saying: Although we cannot believe the Christian ideas of God, the ethical principles of Jesus are the hope of the world.
"Today, however, in the presence of terrorist attacks and senseless killings, it is these same ethical principles of Jesus that many find difficult to believe or apply.
