Starting this year, each issue of all the Christian Science periodicals will begin with a page 1. Under the old system, only the first issues of the year began with page 1. The effect was to produce high page numbers later in the year, a result which has seemed antiquated to many and has also been confusing to others. A slightly adjusted year-end indexing system will enable readers to locate articles in bound volumes as readily as in the past.
Beginning January 10, 1987, the Christian Science Center in Boston is changing its telephone number. Those calling The Mother Church and its offices, including The Christian Science Publishing Society, should use the following number: (617) 450-2000, instead of 262-2300. The 800 WATS numbers remain the same.
Meetings at which testimonies of Christian Science healing are given are held in Christian Science churches on Wednesdays. A cordial invitation to attend these meetings, as well as the Sunday services, is extended to all. Information telling where and when these are held is given in the church directory in The Christian Science Journal.
