This marks the first appearance of "Bible Notes" in the second—instead of the last—issue of the month. As announced in the August 25 issue of the Sentinel, this change in schedule is the result of accelerated overseas delivery of the magazine.

Under the former delivery system, the "Bible Notes" schedule for Sentinels going overseas was two months ahead of domestic issues in order to ensure that readers would receive them on time. Consequently, this "Bible Notes" section duplicates one overseas readers have already received. All duplication will end after the October 13 issue, which will carry the "Bible Notes" for November.

Meetings at which testimonies of Christian Science healing are given are held in Christian Science churches on Wednesdays. A cordial invitation to attend these meetings, as well as the Sunday services, is extended to all. Information telling where and when these are held is given in the church directory in The Christian Science Journal.
