A public expression of gratitude from me for at...
A public expression of gratitude from me for at least some of what Christian Science has done for me is long overdue. I thank God that my parents were introduced to Christian Science and knew a little about it before I was born. I am told that as an infant I was unable to retain food. At the end of six weeks I weighed less than I had at birth. A cousin of my mother's suggested that a Christian Science practitioner be asked to help. My mother got in touch with a practitioner, who prayed for me. As a result, at the end of ten days I was completely healed.
Through the years I have had so many healings through total reliance on God that I hardly know where to start this testimony. I do want to give gratitude for what, to me, was an important healing, which occurred about ten years ago. It is my hope that it may help others trust steadfastly in God during times of trial.
At one point I suddenly stopped having bowel movements. After praying in Christian Science on my own with no apparent success, I decided to call a Christian Science practitioner for help. I feared that if I was not healed, I would die. This dear worker prayed for me daily, and each day she brought new freshness and inspiration to the case.
