I am very grateful to have had Christian Science as my way of life always. My heart is filled with appreciation for the dedicated members in various branch churches where I attended Christian Science Sunday School. The truths I learned and the study skills I gained during those Sunday School years, coupled with the loving support I received at home, provided me with a solid foundation for continual spiritual growth as a student of this Science.

Learning of man's inseparable relationship to God, as taught in the Bible and elucidated in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, has brought about healings of physical difficulties as well as evidences of provision in the form of financial supply, employment, and housing.

At one time, our house was being sold in one state and we needed to find a new house in another state. Because of the many changes in our lives, this was a time that called for deep consecration—a time of listening for God's guidance and of understanding more fully that all of His children are encompassed in His care. Mrs. Eddy is quoted as saying to her household "Home is not a place, it is a power. Going home is doing right" (Robert Peel, Mary Baker Eddy: The Years of Authority [New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1977], p. 349). This statement was very helpful to me, for I realized that the right house for us would be evident after I had established the true concept of home in my thought.
