About writing for the periodicals
(From a recent letter)
My mother-in-law and I were recently discussing the need to write down our ideas on Christian Science and then to work them into articles for the periodicals.
After contemplating her encouragement not to procrastinate I responded, "I've always planned to submit my first piece five minutes before I ascend."
Here, for the whole world to judge the speed and wit of mothers-in-law, is her reply: "Well, why don't you send one off tonight and take someone else with you!"
