Lydia, faithful Lydia,See Acts 16:14, 15, 40 . in whose welcoming home
our little church resided
(our Jesus church, so new,
its healing currents
spreading out to bless)—
in your house
hid and safe
preserved by watchful love
while Macedonian breeze
wove its way through waiting trees,
your Christian hospitality
blossomed into healing.
