Patience
Patience says not, "Wait forever,
Work or pray without reward."
Patience means "hold thought steadfastly"See Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 261 .
To God's promise and His Word.
Patience is a priceless lesson,
Teaching us our God is All;
Crumbling every false illusion,
Breaking down each stubborn wall.
Patience is relying on Him,
Leaning on His staff and rod,
Seeing perfect work of patience:
Man, the perfect child of God.
Working righteously and praying,
Knowing all is well with us,
Understanding, we discover,
Patience is not time—it's trust.
